It’s been a while longer than I ever expected.
My last podcast episode went live on June 10th, and now, sitting here on November 25th, I can feel just how much life has shifted in these months. Not just on the surface… but in the quiet places of my home, my health, my energy, my emotions, and my business.
This break wasn’t planned.
It wasn’t strategic.
It wasn’t a “content pause” that productivity experts love to glamorise.
It was life.
Real life… tugging at my sleeve and whispering, “Slow down. Pay attention. Something needs you.”
So that’s exactly what I did.
And today, I want to open the curtain a little not as a strategist, not as a business owner who has it “all figured out,” but as a human being navigating motherhood, ambition, emotional waves, and the messy-beautiful reality of running a business while living a life.
Because behind every launch, every piece of content, and every system we build…
there’s a human being trying to figure things out in real time.
The Season That Humbled Me (In All the Best Ways)
If I’m being completely honest, these months weren’t about my business falling apart they were about me unfolding.
Every time I tried to get back into creation mode, something else surfaced:
- navigating my energy as a mother,
- carrying the mental load of running a household,
- tending to my emotional and physical health,
- rebuilding my gym routine,
- and understanding the days when my body simply needed rest.
I started noticing patterns in myself that I could no longer ignore…
The perfectionism,
The pressure,
The guilt around slowing down,
And the fear that maybe I was “avoiding” my own business work.
But that wasn’t true.
I wasn’t avoiding anything.
I was processing.
And processing is work.
Processing is growth.
Processing is what creates our next evolution.
These inner conversations created a quiet domino effect that touched everything: my routines, my creativity, my capacity, my joy in content creation. I found myself active on stories but not on Reels. Showing real life came naturally… but short-form content felt forced.
Finding My Way Back to Myself
The more I journaled… the more I captured photos… the more I sat with my feelings…
The more my creativity began to return.
Slowly.
Gently.
Not in a big dramatic “I’m back!” moment…
but in a soft whisper:
“I think I’m ready now.”
As I’m writing this, it’s Tuesday, the day new episodes usually go live. I’m sitting here right before school pick-up, recording a raw, imperfect conversation instead of a polished episode.
No script.
No structure.
No strategy.
Just truth.
And honestly? It feels good.
Because sometimes the most important thing isn’t perfect content, it’s an honest connection.
The Real Block I Had to Face
Here’s the thing I had been avoiding admitting:
I had recorded three episodes over the past few months… and released none of them.
Something in me wasn’t ready.
There was a version of me that I had outgrown,
and a version I was growing into…
and I was stuck between them.
But I feel the shift now.
The fog has lifted.
My emotional bandwidth is expanding.
My routines finally feel like they fit me again.
My priorities are clearer.
And my capacity?
It feels different in the best possible way.
This isn’t a dramatic breakthrough moment… but it is a turning point.
A quiet one.
A powerful one.
A New Chapter in Business and Life
I’m not the woman who recorded the June episode.
I’m not the business owner who pushed through everything just to “show up.”
I’m someone who:
- listens to her body more,
- honors her emotional waves,
- doesn’t separate life and entrepreneurship,
- understands that slowing down is not failure,
- and knows that evolution is messy but necessary.
That’s what this next chapter of my business and this podcast will reflect.
More honesty.
More real conversations.
More of the human side of growth.
If You’re Feeling This Too… You’re Not Alone
This time of year naturally brings reflection.
Maybe you’re questioning your capacity.
Maybe you’re reassessing your goals.
Maybe you’re feeling disconnected from your work.
Your routines may feel off.
Maybe life feels heavier than usual.
If any of this resonates, here’s your gentle nudge:
**It’s time to reassess not because it’s the end of the year,
but because you are changing.**
Look at what still feels aligned.
Look at what doesn’t.
Notice the cues your body and energy are giving you.
Notice what inspires you… and what drains you.
This is how you meet your next version with clarity instead of resistance.
Let’s Talk About It
