Let’s start with the most basic question of all, what is a BRAND?

What is the definition and what exactly are we trying or aiming to build the buzz around…

Hubspot says:

A brand is a feature or set of features that distinguish one organization from another.

I think it is much more than that…it is more of a feeling or perception than just the distinguishing factor that leads to its characterization in the industry.

After all, it is the overall experience a customer undergoes when interacting with the business — either as a shopper, customer, social media audience, or a mere jaywalker who happens to come across the business on its way to a destination.

In order to build the buzz for a brand, all you have to is grab the jaywalker’s attention to build your audience as well as manage to maintain your balance with the connection building with your current audience.

Hence I would not share the same old googleable stuff like knowing your audience to build your brand awareness, but rather share my spin when it comes to the 5 step process…so without any ado lets dive deep in further!

Well start with a ZERO and the same is applied to even brands as well when it comes to building an audience as well as the buzz around the brand. Did you know, as if 2019 January 2019 there were 1,518,207,412 websites in the world and there are approximately 380 new websites created every minute!

That is a crazy competition and if you aim to build buzz you have got to work it all out- there is no shortcut. Hence even when building a buzz for yourself, your business and your brand might, initially, feel a bit overwhelming and out of reach. All you got to do is focus on the key i.e. is to break it down and take a step-by-step approach and ensure that your activities are firmly rooted in a plan — you need to think about it as a long term investment in your business. Remember

Building the buzz starts, quite simply, with building your visibility.

Think about this, if your audience is not aware of you, your offer, the features and benefits of the product, what will they think about?

To get people talking about your product, you need to create informational and educational content as well as videos about it.

Here is a PRO TIP — when creating video content make sure that the videos are also entertaining & engaging, so you don’t lose your audience’s attention after all our attention spans equal the one as goldfish now. So, if it’s entertaining enough to get them to stay, many might even be prompted to share the video with their friends.

Why work alone when you can team up?

When teaming up whether you choose to team up with influencers who have a similar target audience or with businesses that complement your offer remember one thing — to find and collaborate with the people whose personalities as well as values align with your brand and product.

After all, these partnerships allow brands to enter new markets more confidently & increase brand awareness in a more efficient way. They are also a way for brands to amplify their appeal by becoming part of a whole market that is greater than the sum of its parts.

So think about it, if you introduce yourself in the market with a shaky alignment it is not a long term or deep impacting match.

So whether you go ahead with a JV, Instagram takeovers or even podcast features you need to have the impact of the strategy as well in mind.

Organic growth is great, but how about a boost with introducing your world to those who aren’t yet part of it?

After all, today running ads is not as tedious as it was some time ago.

Whether you leverage LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook ads to create buzz around your product to generate leads.

All you need to do is post the ad of your product and ask people to either complete a simple form in order to receive something in return or invite them to an event you are running to build your buzz. In fact, it could be anything from updates about the launch to even offering limited free trials. You need to think about what will excite those who you are aiming to attract.

This will help create excitement in the minds of your audience and may help convert them into customers.

However, when running ads make sure you involve your current audience to participate as that is the force that attracts the jaywalker towards your brand, remember!

Next, don’t forget PR!

When you build your initial network backed up media it not only builds your brand’s audience it elevates your brand authority.

Either you could start pitching publications to share your work and attract the audience.

Or check your connections to see if they could feature or introduce you to the one they know for the same.

After all, it is all about the team effort…

And most of all — you don’t just earn their freaking valuable attention by creating something interesting and valuable and then publishing it online for free.

Why am I talking about brand loyalty?

Simply because most may say it is a myth however let me tell you something — 90% of customers are likely to purchase more than once if a brand manages to offer good customer experience. And yet, most manage to lose customers…what an irony

It is time to change the game…

Are you ready to do so?

After all, 60% of loyal customers will purchase more frequently from their preferred companies so why would you miss out on those profits right?

So for today — here is a PRO TIP-Customers with an emotional relationship with a brand that has a 306% higher lifetime value and will recommend the company at a rate of 71%, rather than the average rate of 45%.
