5 reflections to cherish as we step into 2021!

"Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forward!"
Chapter 2

If you’re even somewhat like me, you love taking lessons you learned with you to the next chapter of life.

And what is more promising of a good start than a new year almost on the horizon?

When the past year began, we had no idea it would turn out as it did; 2020 has thrown us many curveballs, surprises, and surprising plot twists.

It has also shown us what matters, the power of working together, and what kindness is.

Here are a few reminders to keep grounded for sustainable growth and keep the momentum building up.

Being busy isn’t a medal of honor to flaunt.

I see many business owners flaunting being busy was associated with success, achievement, and status.

Is it, though?
Is being busy helping you expand or scale your business?

As we step into 2021, let’s take a second to look at our lives and focus on what matters, shall we?

For instance, did you start your business in the first place to be busy?

2020 has taught us the value of slowing down and being intentional with our time; how about keeping up with it.

Reflect on what truly matters for you, and then map an action plan to work on things.

Like for me, along with work, designing a living space that gives me peace of mind, feels safe and cozy to stay at home, and reflects who I am is key to feeling at home.
How about you?

We must take time off to invest with friends and close one’s matters.

I will share it out; there’s no doubt in the past I’ve taken time with our friends and family for granted. Plus, I had a few past wounds with my family, which needed healing with my parents.

But over the previous year, things have changed; we’ve made an effort to stay in touch.

The feeling of being able to meet them is the most magical. I can’t wait to catch up with my mom in person soon!

We must stop taking our health for granted.

Another point I am guilty of, lacking self-care.
However, I know that’s not just me; if we are healthy, we often don’t think about coming into contact with germs and viruses or even keep track of our wellbeing.

Over the past year, while we have been cautious, I have taken time out for self-care, and I must say, feels so much better and relaxed over the past few days.

It’s the little things that matter.

One of the interesting things for me precisely about this pandemic is that quite a few of my newest clients had the opportunity to get back into a hobby or spend time with who they love.

As stated above, being so busy had left many people without taking on their passions and activities they enjoy. Having to slow down and stay home allowed many people to bring joy back into their lives plus encouraged them to find something new to invest the time.
Few of my newest clients even realized what they were spending whereas where they should invest and decided to work with us.

Even when I reflect, for me, a walk outside, working out, meditating makes my day.
2020 has taught me to savor these moments, to no longer take for granted the small things that bring me joy.
How about you?

Growing a business is about investing in building relations than just closing sales.

Last but not least, last year, we all had faced our struggles when it comes to business as well.
While all most have ever focused on closing sales, building sustainable businesses is relationships I and all of my clients have built over time.
The key for our growing client roster instead of crazy sales pitches delivered in the inbox.
