Love how this Online Space, connects you with amazing and inspiring people each day, isn’t it?
The Same way a few weeks ago I met this amazing inspiring young lady, Chitra Chowdhury, and when we were having conversations I thought of sharing this amazing personality with you guys as well.
So, what are you waiting for? Check the interview with Chitra Chowdhury shared below.
Hello, Chitra, how would you introduce yourself to my amazing audience?
Well, I’m a simple girl from a small town having some big dreams to achieve. And writing is not my profession it’s my life actually!
Every bodies life has a story what is yours? How did you end up blogging?
I was passionate for writing from my childhood days so my story is writing – my dream job. And when I was 14 my debut article about mobile got published in Hindustan Times Newspaper in the children’s column, since then I started taking writing seriously.
So, Chitra tell me, what was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far?
I’m an entertainment writer but sometimes my boss asked me to write on Cricket or any other sports, it’s really a challenging moment for me for me as I hardly follow sports.
But touchwood, I try to prove myself in Cricket writing as well. In my dictionary, there is no word as such as IMPOSSIBLE as the word IMPOSSIBLE itself says I’MPosible. So, with the blessings of God, I can write about Cricket also these days.
This a boring question, however, I’m sure my audience would like to know, how does a typical day in your week look like?
I’m having my own website so my typical week is spent in doing my writing job. Literally, Writing! Writing! And Writing! And I also believe in the concept “Time is money and money is time” so I believe in writing on daily basis.
If I ask you, what is the driving force, that keeps you going when things get tough in your business, what would you say?
I’m an avid god believer and I believe in Karma. So, during my tough days, I only trust in my God, Lord Shiva. He is always there to support me.
What was the reason & Why did you choose the Category/ niche you are in?
Indian cinema or foreign films, both are highly interesting and fascinating. The themes of these movies directly connect to common people. So I always wanted to explore the world of celebrities which I’m doing now!
What would you do differently if you were starting in your industry now?
I would have taken my blogging seriously. This is my humble advice to all new writers out there to take blogging seriously and keep writing.
Who has impacted you most in blogging and how?
My mom has always encouraged me to write. She impacted me the most in my blogging journey. My parents are also writers so writing is in my blood or you can say blogging! And my favorite writer is Chetan Bhagat.
What is the future when it comes to your website? Where do we see you taking the brand in next few years?
I wish to take my news site into the list of top 20 media websites of the country.
A lot of people think that blogging is an easy way to make money online do you agree with that?
No this is not true, the blogging or writing need pretty much hard work. Often we have to submit unique articles with zero percentage of grammatical errors which need lots of wisdom and dedication.
And also blogging need passion for writing so without passion it won’t be possible for any person to get success in this field.
What 3 things does anyone starting in your industry need to know before taking the 1st step.
Writing or blogging is not only a job, it’s an honest job. So as a newbie, if you enter in the blogging industry you must follow these 3 basic principles:
I). Write what is right!
II). You Should stay determined and dedicated while choosing the topic or subject matter of the writing.
III). Never consider criticism as your weakness instead try to figure out your mistake and work on it to never repeat the same mistake again.
Which people or books have had the most influence on your growth and why?
Mother Teresa has always inspired me because of her charitable works and noble thoughts across the globe. She was a true world peace icon, and I respect her a lot.
And I’m fortunate to share my birthday with her. “No Greater Love” is my favorite book by Mother Teresa.
What would you say is the #1 key to success in your business?
Believe in God and believe in yourself with a never give up attitude.
Is it easy to be a Blogger in India, do people understand your profession?
Frankly speaking, it is an extremely difficult profession in India. And more difficult it is to explain the same to the mass.
Of the upcoming bloggers you know name a few of your favorites? I know it must be difficult to select but still if you have to choose five names who would be (share their names and Blog URL)?
